Your comment was that picking up RSAs makes sense. And it does not, unless you are nearsighted

Everyone has infants, sick parents, difficult kids.
Not everyone makes excuses. Go ahead, pick up RSAs...and hope the union makes miracles.

I am starting to understand him now. It took a few repetitive posts, but I got it.
Don't pick up RSAs man. It doesn't matter what your reason is. If you do, you are scum and care about no one but yourself. You are screwing your fellow pilots over. Don't do it. We need to keep showing the company that we CAN bite the hand that feeds us!

Holy cow BlueBlood go back and read the posts again. He asked me how I get more time at home by picking up RSA's. I explained how I do and he said, oh that makes sense. Get it? He wasn't endorsing me picking up RSA's he just wanted me to clarify what I said.

Per your private message you sent me. No I do not have a problem with foreigners. Unless you're Native American we were all foreigners at one point in our bloodline. How you interpreted me asking if English is your second language as me having a dislike for foreigners is beyond me. I have a dislike for posts filled with spelling and grammatical errors that I have to read four times to make sense of. I'm done arguing with you. We aren't going to change either of our minds so let's move on.

Wow, simply amazing!! You really have a reading comprehension problem.

Did you even read the posts? Either you're a complete idiot or you didn't read it. I'll explain like I'm talking to my 5 year old nephew. Ready?

-He said he was able to spend more time at home by picking up RSA's. OK
-I asked, "How so?'" As in how he was able to spend more time at home.
-He explained why he was able to spend time at home. Keeping up?
-I said "Ah, that makes sense." As in why he was able to spend time at home.
So in short, I did not say, nor imply that picking up RSA's make sense. What was said was that it makes sense why he was able to spend more time at home.

Talk about being nearsighted.....

Maybe, just maybe guys tripping over their D***s to pick up RSAs is telling the company that they don't pay enough already and guys have to pick up RSAs and the like to make up for it? I don't see the reasoning behind BlueBlood's arguments. He claims it's staffing - but we're still hiring, we're still expanding. If we had pilots on furlough or weren't hiring and the guys on property are being forced to work more because they refuse to hire - you may have a point. But I don't see it.

Finishing a sentence as "to make sense of" it's also a grammatical error.
I am not changing your narrow mind, unfortunately. So years of experiences and negotiation tactics of other airlines before our.
You are beyond hope.

You don't see that by picking up RSAs we keep staffing low?
Do you understand the repercussion of a reserve grid that is always red during the weekends and most of the other days?
You have no hope either.
Again, it's not my discovery. Not picking up it's been unofficially enforced in just about every negotiations in the last 15 years of airlines history.

Makes sense to stay more home. Sure? Today yes.
But with proper staffing and pay we could all spend more time at home. For sure, not only when an RSAs that is convenient pops up.
Is that really so hard to understand for you? Wow...who is the idiot?
