Hrmm, that's a good point too. I have no clue how they are going to work this one out, but I agree the LOA should pass easily. 80/20 is my guess

Don't beat the guy up for calling it how it's becoming. Dissent can be good and you should consider how your "don't rock the boat, just happy to be here" attitude is being used against you.
I agree with your 1st paragraph, but not too sure what your getting at with your 2nd one. I am happy to be here, but know things can be much better, and will be one day. What attitude is being used against me? If he is truly that unhappy, then he has alternatives to make his life happy.

I'm standing outside Ft Meyers today waiting on the van. Delta crew walks up. "So, how long you been at JB."
"Almost 2 years."
"Do you have your app in at Delta?"
"No"
"Why not?" Points to FO. "He's been here 4 months."
"Yeah? Where did he come from?"
"Endeavor."
"Well JB is not exactly Endeavor." - now it's fun time:
" I have an aversion to a company that pays outs tons in profit sharing but can't give a hotel room to new hires. That's a deal breaker for me. And it's gotta be 500 thread count or better sheets. And we like each other at JB. And money is not a factor for me because I own a medicinal cannabis clinic."
Blank stare.
"Besides, what's so great about Delta?"

I was just busting b@//s but he was really offended I had the audacity to not apply...

I talked to ALPA about the raise if it passes. They said non PEA pilots are included. That would be awkward if the post 2014 pilots didn't get it.

That's not my question. Of course they will get the raise. My question is, will they also get the chance to sign the 2013 PEA like the guys who are still on the 2011 PEA (or whichever they are on)?

You are incorrect.

Post the language you think makes it contractual.

What is it with Delta guys?
Had the same thing happen a couple years ago, we were in the same van. (shocking they would share with us)They got in and the Captain said hey guys we are hiring soon get your apps ready. When we got out I told him we were hiring now and I could walk his stuff in since we were heading to JFK. His FO cracked up, him not so much.

Look, I get it maybe they were trying to help in their own way but please don't ask me unless I ask you. I just find it slightly (shall we say) uncouth

Well guy I hare to break it to you, but those guys at DAL make at least 30-40% more than we do. Maybe they'll stop looking down at us when we (all of us) grow some balls.

Like I care what they think.

I put in 7.5 years at a regional so having some major guy looking down at me is nothing new. Heck I fly the 190 our own "mainline" guys look down at us.

We have plenty to be proud of and a union that is making great progress.
