Such BS. We're not under the DR anymore. They don't get to just shove stuff down our throat. They know what the cost of pilots is now. They see what United, Delta, SW are getting and realize they'll be paying the same soon.

I trust that our NC, and MEC/LEC will not let up on the gas one iota and will deliver us a leading CBA as soon as they possibly can. If there are delays, I suspect and expect that they/we will use all mechanisms available to put pressure on the company to finalize a deal.

Stop acting like a battered wife and grow a pair.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. Voting yes.

And we get a pitiful 8%? My rate would have to increase by over 50% to match its equivalent in Delta's new TA. Insulting.
Yeah and if the FA's got a 40% raise what could you do? For better or worse management sets their rates. We didn't want that setup as pilots, we voted in a union. Or pace is determined by negotiations. Two totally separate processes. We're banking on our process having a better outcome....

Complain when a TA gets floated that doesn't meet your expectations.

Yeah I agree. It will be an overwhelming yes. As it should be. The MEC unanimously voted yes on the LOA.

The argument that this is only a 3% raise is not really accurate. Profit sharing has always been at the board's discretion. They have decided to cap it at 10%. Only in the past two years of the company's entire existence have we exceeded that number. Granted we probably will exceed that next year it is never guaranteed. We could end up with 0%. The 8% base pay raise however is guaranteed.

This obviously is in the company's benefit. No doubt about that. But voting no is only going to benefit the company even more. This will have no bearing on how the MEC and NC go about business.

This really is an easy decision. Voting no does nothing but shoot out selves in the foot.

Vote yes take the money.

Let the MEC and NC do their jobs. If the final TA/CBA is junk... vote it down... start over. Not ideal but if it must be done... time will tell. Keep yer panties on.

+1. I think the negotiators can keep their eye on the prize as this has zero bearing on the CBA. Bozo's self-professed superior understanding of labor airline history notwithstanding.
