Hell, even without going and finding those posts, our current contracts point to the truth of what we are saying. Spirit guys just voted in a substandard pay package at the same time we voted in what was then industry standard pay with an industry standard snap up clause. Spirit guys voted in a subpar package that allows them to continue the course on their QOL crusade.
Again find me a quote where a NK pilot said we would take less than industry standard pay. I’ll wait. It shouldn’t take you too long since there are so many of them, right?
Not like you guys at JB have anything better to do anyway. You’re most likely already delayed or cancelled if you’re working, right?

At the time our TA was voted in it made us the second highest paid airbus operator. So at that point it was higher than industry standard. The union sold the “3 bites” of the apple BS and unfortunately the majority took it. So to get higher than industry standard, at the time, we gave away NO QOL.

Also my dates are a little fuzzy but didn't you all vote your rates in a bit after the Delta TA came out? I can't recall but I know you all voted on yours after Alaska's and after ours was out. I am hopeful that yours barely passed your group, not with flying colors, that's a better sign for the future.
In the other forum discussing pay rates vs keeping dtz "Not sure what your definition of significant is but 10-15 dollars isn’t mine". Already making excuses for the lower pay rate. If you are aware of how to quote from another thread on here please tell me. I don't know how to link it more directly.

I’m not against Delta + 1 pay rates, but those QOL items JB folks seem to be willing to get rid of is what allows us to continue crediting more and working less. You guys def make more per hour, but I’d argue we get pretty close to you all on a W2 because said QOL items
Base and seat matters, but the point is that these trips exist on DOT board regularly that allow us to get paid pretty close to y’all and that’s the point here lol

I mentioned in a different post here on the JB forum how DTZ and all that plays out and how it looks like in practice. DTZ helps with picking up premium and adjusting your schedule to make it more efficient and get higher crediting trips.

What about those of us with seniority that just get a good line (better than what's in open time), what do we get? A lollipop?
And, let's just agree to try and keep the best of both contracts, plus a lot more.

Most of the "examples" are "I got a shaty line and was able to drop/trade for good stuff".

And I think a 1 for 3 TAFB trip rig would do wonders for our pay/pairing quality... Might be one of the biggest win/wins possible. And everything else, of course.
Listened to the conference call this morning, I didn’t realize how much the NEA was tied to your profitability. Also, it really sounds like they are desperate for the merger to go through to spread their network out. Can’t remember who it was, but they totally whiffed an answer to a plan B if the merger fails and JetBlue’s expansion outside of the northeast….
