For once we need to be thinking and planning years ahead of yesterday's paycheck. JCBA is the time, hard line in the sand. It's now INDUSTRY STANDARD. No excuses, from management or fellow PILOTS.

Exactly. Right now the "geniuses" will say "why fight for profit sharing, the company isn't even profitable". And in the coming years when profits are up they'll say "we can't get profit sharing now, the company is profitable and it will cost them too much, they'll never give it to us".

Wrong. We want legacy pay and profit sharing without giving up our work rules. You’re the one who wants us to give things up that you have no experience with. I’ve talked to many jetblue folks, most great people who see that we can have an amazing JCBA with the best of both worlds. Then there’s you who just likes to talk ish.

Theres 0 reason we can’t be one of the highest paid airbus pilots AND keep the QOL items that make any legacy pilot wet. With strong language and good QOL items/schedule manipulation, imagine how much we can get paid. Add a PS check on top and that’ll allow us to compete with legacy carriers for talent.
This place can be something special. Why match the legacies when we can do it better? Food for thought.
Because there is a PILOT SHORTAGE and management NEEDS the JCBA and can’t afford to stall negotiations (as per usual) so IF NOT NOW, WHEN?
