My New FO’s swear the A330’s are coming….. (I don’t think it will, but I’m impressed how strongly they all seem to believe it will come).
They told us in recurrent last week it’s just moving crews out of JFK/BOS, not new flying…

So, per our Q2 earnings report, we're anticipating a *loss* for the busiest summer travel season ever. *******ing what.

On what planet does C suite live that they think we have "strong operational performance?" They'll blame ATC, the weather, the Earth's geography... meanwhile our performance *IS* the problem. Nobody's gonna fly a 40% on-time airline.

Meanwhile we had guys on here screaming we should vote down the TA Extension last year because of no profit sharing improvements. We'd all be making 283/hr now instead of $330 as of today.

Welp, Florida commuters going to be happy as advertised. "Re-aligning the pairings to where people want to live" is the reason per the VP of somethingorother.

Net change for 2024:

9 BOS 320 SQ CA
-70 BOS 320 CA
-2 EWR 320 CA
60 FLL 320 CA
-145 JFK 320 CA
25 JFK 320 SQ CA
-6 LAX 320 CA
111 MCO 320 CA
0 BOS 223 CA
81 JFK 223 CA
-188 BOS E90 CA

Compared the first "Active pilot" count to the last "Target Pilot" count. Probably made some errors, so take it FWIW.

I got the same numbers except 81 JFK 220 CA and -188 BOS E90 CA.

A net loss of 18 320 CA spots for the year isn't exactly encouraging.

You live in La-La land if you think we wouldn’t have gotten a second TA by now. Our average interviewee had 1600 TT until we got the extension approved. Without that, we couldn’t have kept up with attrition. You’re still not very smart…but as they say…can’t fix stupid.

Is this part of the joint Town Hall we’re having tomorrow? Merger approved so piece on the chess board has started moving?
