Our reserve rules suck a$$ too.. so they’ll be heavy lifting for both sides.

Well, Dan and Tommy negotiated Reserve last time around. What could go wrong with having them do it again?!

15-20% of the pilot group is on RSV at any given time and most of those are junior/short timers while they wait to hold a line. Reserve pilots are expendable in the eyes of the union. Change my mind.

That’s exactly what I’m saying man. We need a new set of eyes and fresh perspective. And you’re exactly right Flyby, most of us will spend years on reserve…I want to see a huge increase in reserve qol.

I live in base so my perception is different then those who don't. I bid long call and the rules are pretty straightforward for LCR. SCR is a whole different animal and the rules do need a lot of improvement on CBA 2.0. I would love to see us be able to pick up above guarantee on days off but the line holders will never vote for it.

In smaller bases, it doesn't matter if you are LCR in -base...bc they will regularly shift you to SCR day 1 of your block. The language on conversions is way too loose--no one should ever be converted to SCR on day 1 of a block--basically gives them the ability to use an LCR like an SCR.

Stick a domicile (24hr) and a time (half hr) protection on res pickups and lineholders shouldn’t care. After that you’ll need language that allows pickups going into or coming out of res duty periods.

Almost forgot to mention. I’m not sure if you have a premium add folder for pickups as well but if you do and go for res ability to pickup you’ll want some protections on that as well.

Yes, it's 4 or 5 times a month (can't remember) and $100 per conversion.

Ah. At Spirit our cap is 4 a month involuntarily (paid 1 hour above guarantee for each conversion), anything subsequent is voluntary and paid 2 hours above guarantee per conversion.
