Not sure if I agree. I certainly wouldn't support ALPA blocking this.

Look- an 8% raise still us below industry average. I won't be satisfied with that as a final number. But 8% helps me and my family until we get a much better number in the CBA.

Yea but it could also be a tactic that makes B6 look better in the public eye- " hey we gave em pay raises and theyre still not happy". I hope im being too paranoid. Doubt it

If that is their play, I'll vote with my feet and go to Delta. They need us more than we need them.

I don't think ALPA could block this, same reason as our positive checkin. Giving us 8% now taking it out of our profit-sharing next year. It won't change the negotiations. We're not gonna get a contract for two+ years anyways, so why not take it.

They are trying to undercut the MEC and you guys are falling for it hook line and sinker.

Directly out of the union busting playbook.

I agree that many of us have that option to 'vote with my feet.' Many of us do not have that option. . .if you are over 45 are in the top 50%, you are not leaving for another carrier. This is it. . .I agree that any pay raise immediately would be tough to pass up but what does that mean to a negotiated pay raise in a CBA? I don't know the answer but I do know that if you are in the last 15 years of your career, this initial CBA is everything.
