As mentioned, its just the normal aircraft lock (190/220 to 320). There is no lock on SQ itself, it's the same as FLL Latam. Only difference is you can't base trade out of it, only supplemental or annual bid.

That would allow someone to check it out without being stuck there in case you don’t like it. Of course you’d need the seniority to bid back. Does anyone know the answer to this one for sure? Definitely worth an email to a rep if you’re interested.
Yes you can do that. I flew with a Captain that did that (SQ for only 3 or 4 months), just set it up that way in your annual/supplemental bid. Again, other than the normal equipment freeze, you're not stuck on it. Just can't base trade out of it.

that would be nice. Bid it for a couple months then go back. Nice change of pace and to see if you like it.

Good to know. Thanks for the info. Something to think about with the annual coming up!

Next year you don’t have to be based in FLL to fly below the red line. All crews will be trained in the LAQT starting in September.

Honestly I just want FLL base red line or not lol. Whether or not I'll be able to get it is another story. I really don't have any idea how this bid is going to shake up.

Looks like closing MCO190 base. Displacement on the annual bid.
