190 is the biggest source of our staffing problems, And maybe attrition. If you only have so many pilots, meaning not enough, might make sense to reduce that fleet. If there were plenty of pilots, wouldn't need to make the decision. I always thought at some point the low 190 pay rates management insisted on would come back to bite them in the butt.

They could easily sign an LOA to temporarily raise the rates as they wind the fleet down. Might help stop pilots transitioning away from that aircraft. As far as the ‘rumor’, I honestly don’t know what rumor you’re speaking of BeatNavy, but I’m curious….🤔

This is what they should be doing. They've delayed class dates for several going to the Airbus due to "Lack of Pilots" on the 190.

No more LOA’s until a CBA. Just get it done.

They don’t need an LOA. They can simply choose not to train 190 transitions and pay bypass. Pretty simple solution, but it will cost a few bucks.
so rather than catching up and growing the airline like they want too, the thought of having to pay a few 190 guys a little extra will cripple them.
