So B6 announced a bunch of summer schedule cuts. FLL has been hit particularly hard. I am seeing a lot of commentary that jetblue is “at a crossroads” and there is nowhere else to grow organically. There is speculation that the airline could end up being shopped out. What is the game plan?

And... Even if JB would have agreed to drop the NEA, Spirit BOD still wouldn't have moved forward with JB, just would have changed it's argument to "DOJ wouldn't approve it, JB would raise fares dramatically, not a real ULCC".
The Spirit BOD wanted F9 for their own reasons.

Probably not an oversight with this MEC/NC. Their job is a whole lot easier when survey data is mediocre at best. The UAL AIP being out would likely make their job harder with higher demands.

Lots of negativity toward the union on a public forum isn’t a great look….. highly suggest you all engage your reps directly and tell them your true feelings vs complaining to the world anonymously.
i guess I don’t understand the *****ing. We are still probably 2-4 years from an AIP (unless the company gets desperate). My expectations are UAL/AA/DL a321 rates plus a few percent (and they should all have new contracts by then). On top of that I expect scope protections to stay in place, RSV rules to improve, positive space commuting and virtual bases and lower medical costs.
I think this is reasonable and see no reason why we won’t obtain that…. And frankly, if we don’t, I’ll just quit and go to delta….. not rocket science and not worth getting upset over something that hasn’t happened yet.
just have faith that the volunteers working for you aren’t idiots and are going to work hard to get the best contract possible.

“Just have faith” in the volunteers that brought us LOA 13 and 17. And if it doesn’t work out, just walk into a Delta jet in FOUR years!
Wow, what a fantastic plan!!
GMAB.
Must be nice having the ability to “just quit and go to Delta”. What’s stopping you now? You’d rather just leave the four years (5000 seniority numbers) on the table?
