Not exactly junior, but new hires are getting FLL out of training I think. It’s also much bigger than MCO.

thanks! In the past I've heard the time from day of interview to class date can be a 6-12 month process, has that changed in recent time?

2019 DOH is the most Junior FO in FLL. New hires were getting it because we nearly doubled the base from 2018-2019.

What would you say is the average age of the pilot group at JB? Any idea as to what the attrition rate is or looks like?

I think it’s in the low 50’s.

The other thread about hiring has a few people who broke down their time lines from applying to class date. I interviewed in October of 2021 and was in class 6 weeks later. Could've been 4 weeks but I elected a later start date. Seems like they revamped the process. All dependent upon how fast background info clears but it seems it has sped up compared to previously.

Wow didn’t realize it had gotten so stagnant. I could’ve sworn I saw some recent new hires get it but you’re right.

As of the most recent seniority list it’s right at 48.

47.7 but that doesn’t include the October-December hires (that should be coming out any day now, and will likely lower that number a tad). Between July and December last year 105 left. 10 have left so far this month, 3 of those are retirements. Average 3 more retirements a month and I’d guess 15-20 a month attrition on top of that at current rates. 2 from the 12/15 class have already bounced before they really even started.
