Imagine how you’re going to feel working for them!

Not like they’d adhere to agreements but we have yet to receive a pilot specific message re the current IROP, solely company wide messages correct?

“CBA Notes

Section 2: Definitions

Irregular Operation (IROP) (JBU 2019-16-MEC)

The Company agrees the following on a precedential basis:

Whenever the Company announces an IROP to its Crewmembers, a separate message will be sent to the Pilots specifying the correct IROP level, if any, as per the IROP definitions in the CBA. The correct contractual IROP level, as specified in the message to the Pilots, will be the only IROP level applicable to the Pilots, for purposes of the CBA.”

All I see is a jetcrew notification on 12/29 and a corresponding email neither of which was specific to pilots, therefore we are not in a CBA recognized IROP. Please correct me if if wrong.

As usual, people here go on the attack. What I was referring to was JetBlue’s statements in its Q3 earnings call (as well as statements regarding the NEA in press releases and it’s defense against the DOJ suit) about its goals to capture more business travel traffic, particularly in Boston. My point is if JetBlue wants more of these travelers IN THE FUTURE, then it can’t be number 10 for on-time performance or receiving 9th place above Frontier for customer service.

Regarding what do I think is going to happen? I understand covid is ravaging every airline right now. However it’s striking to look at our performance versus Southwest’s last week. A month ago, Southwest canceled part of its schedule so it would be properly staffed for the holidays. For most days last week, Southwest canceled less than 1% per day. Meanwhile JetBlue canceled 7-12% a day while having 30-45% of its flights delayed. Southwest learned from its meltdown. At least now JetBlue is looking ahead the next 13 days and trying to show what it can realistically fly so customers can have some time to get to their family event/interview/cruise/college/meeting. Sometimes I think some forget why we are flying these planes - people are paying to be somewhere. I think JetBlue is an awesome airline with a standout product, but that’s not any good if we fail to deliver.

Not a single person? You might want to check your email. This MEC camel just got its nose under the tent and we didn't have to give up anything in return. Section 6 hasn't even started.

I see they are offering 300% pay for premium trips. Does anyone know which dates this applies to? The email references MOU 20, but I cannot seem to locate it. The latest MOU in our CBA is MOU 19.

Thoughts on Scott Laurence leaving? Seems like the higher-ups are bailing before we ram the iceberg. Plus Robin’s tenure is up at some point in 2022 I believe.
