Well they put out a very vague email. Sanitized by legal no doubt. So I’ll expand for you.

One of the JFK FO reps was taking screen shots of PDRs and posting them to group chats with his friends, making fun of and even going as far as to say one of our pilots needs “a couple boots through his gums” among other insults such as “clueless nits” “ignorant pilots” “nitwits” “tools”, threatening to report a pilot for fitness of duty assessment, “in breds”

This FO rep has refused to resign even after request from his fellow LEC members and pilots.

As you can see the MEC is implying it’s up to us to participate and recall the rep. There is already paperwork filed for his recall on the dec 6th LEC meeting.

The R&I committee resignation is just another indication of the working environment the MEC has created. There has been an absolute multitude of resignations under our current chairman’s reign, and many committees remain with no volunteers.

Either way call your reps because I’m guessing ALPA legal won’t let them put out a comm blast to everyone.

That info is available from other sources without the double shot of crazy with a rage chaser

is there only one fo rep? This is a horrible way to act especially for someone who volunteered for the position.

There are two aspects to this.

1) it’s political and it shouldn’t be. We are all JetBlue pilots— not Republican or Democrat pilots— Just JetBlue Pilots.

2) the thing that I find absolutely unacceptable (and the reason he should be fired as a rep) is that he posted screen shots of PDR’s and shared them. Absolutely unacceptable. The PDR system is required to not be shared outside the union. He broke trust and needs to go because of that.
