I’m sorry you hate the HUD, I’ve flown 2 types with HUDS while the 190 sucks the G550’s HUD is awesome. I would be open to a HUD again if it has EVS and a better display..

320 wasn’t bad either but the 190 side of the house is my kinda style.

How is it your style? I remember hearing overall it is easier training. I’m sure the FMS is much more user friendly and the VNAV looks nice.

I didn’t know if jumping right into the left seat with no time on the plane would be a handful but it sounds like it’s not too bad a transition.

I fly with guys/gals that do it all the time and have no issues. The E190 is about as easy of an airplane to learn. Everyone is different though. I would think going 190 to 320CA with no Airbus time would be more of a handful. Not only learning all the little Airbus quirks, but possibly flying HF/WATRS for the first time and a bunch of new destinations the E190 never sees.

Plane wise you will not have an issue. If you can figure out the Bus the 190 will be no problem. I actually slightly miss that plane sometimes

190 FO to 320 FO to 190 CA here. It’s all the same. I wouldn’t say any were easier or harder than the other. Cooperate to graduate.

Why would an arbitrator suggest coming to an agreement with management, when we already did come to one ... it’s called our CBA?

of course the arbitration wants that. It makes the job easier. Of course management wants to try and negotiate to look better. No give on scope ever. Our job is useless without scope. If we end up giving on this it’ll be the end of Jetblue as we know it. If the arbitrator gives in to company demands it makes every other airlines cba as nil and void

I would argue it’s better for everyone for us to attempt to come to an agreement that is acceptable to both parties. The company doesn’t have to risk an unfavorable arbitration ruling and we don’t have to risk an unfavorable arbitration ruling.

Not saying we will come to an agreement, but it certainly de-risks the situation for everyone.

reminds me of a divorce. You two don’t agree on something? Ok did you try to work it out? Not really. We just said no thanks. Ok go back and try to work it out.
