Hey y'all,

I have a contract question. What happens when a lineholder flies a trip into a month he holds reserve? Does the portion of the trip in the reserve month go on top of guarantee? The CBA is vague.

So you would be awarded fewer reserve days?

Correct. Also you would lose out on any rig credit for the trip because it’s always applied to the last day of a pairing.

Certain rigs are, but others aren’t, 3.D:

Monthly application of Rig Credit
In the event a Pilot operates a Pairing that transitions from one Operating
Month into the following Operating Month, all credit associated with the
Duty Time rig will be applied on the calendar day the Pilot reports for duty.
The Average Daily rig, Time Away From Base and Minimum Average Duty
Period rig will be paid in the month in which the Pairing terminates.

No, the day just counts as a work day, not an unavailable day.
