I actually did explain it, in my post above.
But I'll slow down.
Have you been reading message boards and talking with your fellow pilots? Have any on this board, or in person discussed concerns about?:
1. TA allows American to do up to 100% of international outside the Caribbean.
2. Maybe JB will just have AA do Europe.
3. Maybe JB will cancel the LRs.
Have you heard any pilots express any of these concerns over the last several days?
Now, the press release was more than just a seat. Look at the headline itself:
"
Is it a big deal? Nope. Is it coincidental timing? Only if you're a moron.

JetBlue Unveils Completely Reimagined Mint, ***Setting the Stage to Change the Transatlantic Market*** with Exceptional Experience, Competitive Fares".
This could have been announced 4 weeks ago, or 4 weeks from now. But they chose now, as voting is just about to open.Is it a big deal? Nope. Is it coincidental timing? Only if you're a moron.

You guys keep focusing on the SEAT. It is the fact that they chose now to reinforce the TRANSATLANTIC project that is intentional.
I explained that CLEARLY, and I never said a word about a SEAT or food.
With that said, you're all welcome to YOUR own opinion.

Fairly coincidental since this has been an open secret for the last 6 months... The soft product revamp was in advance of this. Many of us have worked at foreign carriers with awesome passenger products in the back yet were slaveship shops upfront. If any of our pilots are swayed one way or another by this announcement they are fools, it’s all about the language... who cares what flavored popcorners are served in the back.. it means nothing. Now the massive order of 220s in the middle of CBA voting, now that was no conspiracy and was meant very well to be a curveball. I don’t think the company foresaw the utter impotence the NC and MEC has projected in the past week for the rollout of the TA...... If the company wants to move ahead with this after (God willing) it is rejected, the Company will come back to the table. We need to demand a shorter duration, solid protections addressing all the issues our brothers and sisters have brought up and a paybump NOW or PS cut or something more. Only then I might entertain it.... anyone that is so squishy as to be swayed by a nice business class seat, well there is no hope for that individual!

I just don’t see the carrot that management is presenting to the pilot group by showing off their fancy new Mint seats or discussing anything TATL related. It’s not like those pictures this morning of the seats were inside our upcoming A330/787’s with payrates, as always, a couple percent lower than the Legacies. Even when we start negotiating CBA2, you know ALPA will give up on negotiating a separate rate for LR/XLR flying since it’s still a narrowbody A321.

Ok let’s focus on it as the “transatlantic project”, again..... who cares, hours and hours of boredom via CPDLC and a selcal check at 30W, all at the same payrates, same perdiem, same intl override.... It’s just a 321 folks, why anyone expect an announcement today to “reinforce” that have any sway upon a pilot voting for or against this TA. I think (and would hope) most pilots here would think nothing more about the announcement today other than “hey cool seat” and think nothing more than that!

It's as if you guys haven't been listening to guys debating the TA, and expressing concerns about JB having AA do all it's international flying that isn't in the Caribbean. But you guys can keep focusing on the seat.

Some say it's been an open secret for months. I agree. But they didn't announce it 3 weeks ago, or a week after vote closes. They announce the day before voting opens on a TA that many fear would have AA do all JB international flying.
Or we can talk about seats and food if you want?
