Reference CBA 1.F.2 and 1.F.3
Thats not what we are voting on and they already got that in LOA 12. They will just have Joint venture restrictions of F7 and F8 that they apparently need and want but won't have....Whats wrong with that?

My buddy let me see this and just the length alone makes it a no. Living under scope rape for many years still leaves me scratching the noggin. Good luck.

This TA needs to be DOA, and the last few soft sell job emails from our MEC aren’t swaying my vote.

ALPA settled for an extremely bad deal based off threats of furloughs and then sent out the garbage for the pilots to vote on. I mean come on, how many more times is it going to take for us to not buy into the “we don’t anticipate them doing this,” or they “can” or “may.” Give me a break, weak language and duration is enough for me to not even consider this garbage. ALPA once again selling us down stream.

This isn’t about hoping they come back with a better offer, it’s about keeping our scope and what’s left of our CBA intact.

Followed by 2 weeks of selling by MEC/Company. There is no need to keep voting open for 2 weeks. Most people (hopefully) have made up their mind and will be voting NO on Day 1

A new ALPA Podcast is out, Part 1 of 2, on LOA 13 and job protections.

Not much new information, but at the 12 minute mark they explain why LOA 12 was insufficient relief and why we’re looking at LOA 13. Apparently the company thought relief on 1.F.1 and 1.F.2 would cover the AA deal. As the plan materialized after LOA 12, ALPA discovered it would also violate 1.F.7 and 1.F.8. Rather than let it slide, the MEC decided to enforce our contract. LOA 13 is the result.

Whether the company did this unknowingly, or if it was a sloppy attempt at a land grab, was not discussed.
