New guy here, less than two years. I couldn’t have imagined a worse TA. Recall is an understatement, we need actual negotiators. I’m offended.

Very disappointed in the mec/lec. I’ve been pretty supportive of them till this. It is asinine how this made it to a vote.

Been here less than 2 years. Can't believe they'd pass this thing 12-2. Disappointed to say the least, it's a NO and its not even close....Hoping our pilot group is paying attention to how bad this truly is.

CAPS mine for emphasis. Seems straight forward. Any RJ under the AA umbrella can now fly on JB code. I bet our customers will be loving that.

As a junior guy at the absolute bottom who would definitely be on the chopping block if they decide to furlough. Guys I can tell you junior guys I know all are a resounding NO. I rather get furloughed and come back to a company with a strong pilot group then get this thing voted in and work for a company that is gutted and able to farm out it’s flying. Giving up potentially 10 years of flying just for a couple of months of furlough protection that too with many stipulations that probably can’t be meet doesn’t make sense to me or my fellow colleagues.

Just FYI:

“Wetleases are prohibited in our contract under 1.C.1b. However, JetBlue’s Scope is silent on the wetlease issue. Meaning, while the Company would need APA’s permission to wetlease aircraft, JetBlue’s MEC does not have same rights. In theory, this means any wetleasing would only be on the JetBlue side. An example of how a wetlease would apply in this Code-share is: an AA airplane shows up at a JetBlue gate, carries a B6 flight number and is operated by an AA crew. JetBlue sells the seats and keeps all the revenue from the flight and pays AA for the plane and the crew. There are more examples of this in freight world where you will see a Polar/Atlas 747 flying around with a Qantas or Cathay Pacific flight number. You can see why this is prohibited in our contract.“

Which would be especially problematic if the “AA” flight in question was PSA.
Voting NO.

Lets not forget that there is a good chance there is additional government support beyond 3/1 and possibly beyond 11/1.
