I’m waiting for the final language on the scope stuff, but it better be a pretty small ask from the company.

- cares 2 is gonna get a vote in the next week
- moderna gets approval today and they have twice as many doses ready to go than Pfizer.

I believe the scope relief is indeed very small.

I expect that it is simply temporary relief from the "growing block hours" requirement in the CBA to enter or amend a codeshare.

I’m just curious, besides the scope language, what exactly were you looking for in this AIP?

If that’s true then it’s an ok deal.

If it’s anything much beyond that, like including Mia and lax, or a full domestic codeshare, I’m out.

The yes or no for me and I assume most people will hang on the extent of the scope relief.

Scope is the determining factor. The bigger the give the more we should get in return yes? So like I said the ask from the company better be really small because a new Flica window ain’t doing anything for me. The only bullet point that’s worth anything is the return of 5 hours of pay per month(which would’ve happened with cares 2 anyways)

This is probably our only shot to repair profit sharing

for real?

Cares 2 is going to be signed next week? You’re 100% on that? Man that’s AWESOME news. Did Nancy tell you? Or Mitch? How come you work at JetBlue if you have such valuable information? Now is this the same cars act that Nancy said would be signed back in October when she pleaded with airlines to not furlough? Or the one that was suppose to be signed this week? The one that “we are so close on, but have some massive differences to work out”

I'm not sure the language or the codeshare, or which hubs it includes or excludes will ultimately be part of the ALPA language or possibly even disclosed at the time of vote. Or maybe it will, not sure.

I agree, the language matters, and none of us can be a "yes" or a "no" without the language.

I'm curious for other perspectives, what would it be about MIA or LAX that would be an automatic "no" for you?

In the case of NYC/BOS, I believe this codeshare in some ways to be AA picking it's successor in the market, as they know they have a failing strategy in NYC/BOS. I might feel that LAX is a similar dynamic. In all 3 cases, I see AA choosing it's successor, and for that successor not to be Delta...

My opinion, but open to more thoughts.

Read the news It’s most likely getting done next week yes. More articles on it today as well. If you believed any of the articles in October well you just must not pay attention to politics very much. Good news is we probably won’t vote on this before cares 2 passes anyways.

What’s the rush though. Current LOA doesn’t expire for 3 months.
We should be talking sure, but this offer is lacking at best.

first class DH?

where you first classing on JetBlue?

ps? Ok yah that’s legit free for that company considering we are spending 6-8 mill a day. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t just put that in there knowing that no ones going to get PS for the next 3 years. JetBlue meets us at 70 hours for the last 6 months yet 1/2 of this pilot group probably made more money than they ever had. Industry furloughed. Cut pilots hours to 30 hour at place. And JetBlue comes and give you 2% raise in 2022. And you’re worried about cola?

That additional 2% cola raise is a full year and half away. Think anything might be better by then? We effectively just extended our contract by a year.

Jetblue is in a better position than most other airlines. The deals at those airlines should have zero implications on ours.
