If they come back then they come back. For the mgmt types, those jobs will likely be backfilled and someone else will come off the active list. For the medical/mil guys, they just have to eat it, but, statistically, there will always be medical/mil guys coming and going. They could have put -50, or -100, or whatever. I think they tried to put some realistic number based on the projected block hours for next year as well as giving flex for each B/E/S to lose some, as well as following the potential 190 retirements if the 1 for 1 sticks, hence a larger percentage of 190 reductions. It’s also likely the 220 will attract 190 guys in a similarly higher percentage than 320 guys. Fortunately for the company, it won’t really matter how it ends up. Whether we are more overstaffed in some seats than others doesn’t really matter to them at this point I don’t think, and if it comes to it, they can do more bids to balance as needed (likely will happen with the LR supp).

And yeah I agree there will be some (not a lot) of backfills. But the single digit ones were mostly/all senior bases, mostly airbus. I don’t see a lot of those guys going to BOS 220. Maybe a handful. I see it mostly coming from JFK/BOS 190, with some JFK/BOS 320...and looking at the numbers I just don’t see a lot of movement outside the vacancy filling. All a guess though. Haven’t had a new equipment bid in a long time...and given the stagnant environment and negative numbers across the board, bidding behavior is going to be different than it was even a year ago.

Yeah I really have no idea. I’m in the low #3000’s and bidding it. Maybe there’s some bias with trying to keep my expectations low.

The awards are posted two weeks after closing? The email did not specify.

They have 21 days to post the results (CBA 24.C) but I'd be surprised if it took that long.

I'd be really surprised if the right seat went that senior. I don't see why a 320 FO with a decent line would end up being the plug on the 220.

After talking with some friends senior to me I’m hoping to be in the top 50% as an FO, and I’m in the lower 2000’s
