Lol.. Really???? You didn't get that????
As for being an offensive thread, that's just silly. So people have opinions, as dumb as some are (see your DAL 2 year legacy thread as an example). Why not educate, debate, help people grow, instead of just shutting it down? 😉
Cheers..

Wow! Again, sarcasm doesn't translate well. I was being cheeky but that doesn't matter.
Having an opinion about the possibile safety issues with a lack of systems knowledge and/or experience in an airframe is different than a lack of respect for required crewmembers.
I didn't mind opposing viewpoints on the captain upgrade thread until it got personal. Rather than thinking, "hey he may have a point, especially since we may be seeing guys getting hired with the bare minimums and no TPIC due to a pilot shortage and immediately (which in terms of a long career, 1.5 years is immediately) being placed in the left seat with another pilot who was hired right at minimums, maybe there are some safety concerns", regardless of what airline it is, the Keyboard Kommandos immediately took offense and started personal attacks. My PM was full of guys and their hate. That's fine, I grew bored with it.
But now, we're slagging off a whole section of our crew due to the actions of one flight attendant. It's seeing guys on an anonymous forum talking a lot of big talk, yet when they're on the job have a totally opposing viewpoint that's frustrating.
Just my opinion, but I thought it was a little disrespectful to treat our fellow crew members like they're not part of the team, like they're more of a bother than their worth.

Good points, I just don't give much credence to an anonymous board. Anyone of us could be radicalized or a drug dealer. I think there's some validity that it's possible it would be easier to target the isle professional due to a lower career expectation?? Personally I don't care if we all have to lift our bags on a belt, or talk to a whacko, but I'm not into complacency or laziness. I'm into returning to my family, friends and excellent life.

You have to add face thingys and I'm the worlds worst at sarcasm.

I don't know about lower career expectations though. There are FAs at all the airlines that have been there longer than a lot of us and have made a career of being a Flight Attendant.

You'd all be wise to remember some "grannies, grandes, cart donkeys, aisle mules and cat ranchers" have been working at their job longer than you've graced the earth with your presence/superiority!
