Hey guys, I know this is quite a long shot here....Im 21, I have 1850 Total Time and 350 hours 121 SIC, zero failures, clean record. I also have a life long friend that's wants to give me a blue dart. I know talk seems to be focused on not getting enough new hires. What are my chances getting hired?? Also, how does the blue dart thing work? Thanks for your time.

Your buddy should take your resume to the CPO for review. Even with a blue dart below 3k TT is a tough sell for the PINS and review guys. I'm not saying you won't get it sooner, but don't waste your chance. Do what the guys above said. You're in a great position you'll have a lucrative career.

Both roads can lead to Delta...but I would stay and get a couple thousand hours of TPIC time at your regional. Become a Check Airmen if possible or involve yourself in the training department somehow. Also try and get a ticket to those open houses that Delta hosts would probably help too.
