Hey folks. How long did it take to hear back about the face to face after the phone interview? Been waiting for a few weeks now. I did the addendum immediately after speaking with the recruiter. Starting to get a little concerned. Glad to see you all having success with your interviews!

I was in the same boat. About 3-4 weeks.

Sigh... There were 87 JFK slots, 16 BOS slots, and 9 LGB slots. The class had 14 people in it. No one had to go to LGB. They could've all gone to BOS if they wanted to. At least one guy was from Southern California, so I'm making the assumption that he wanted LGB. Maybe he wanted a change of scenery though. Who knows?
I apologize for not making it clear that JFK and BOS had more slots than people in the class. I assumed that was obvious given the number of vacancies on the last system bid.

Oh wow, that's cool they do it that way. Those slots are all for the bus?

When they drop a class, they drop specific bases equal to the amount of pilots in that class. They can't all go to BOS if they want unless that's all that was in the drop for that class.
Way to confuse everyone.

You're conflating the quarterly requirements based on the last system bid with this specific drop that the latest class received. Which was the original question.

There were 87 JFK slots, 16 BOS slots, and 9 LGB slots. There were 14 pilots. They did not put specific limits on this class, as they have in the past. Perhaps that was a mistake, but that's how the class was done. So yes, all 14 could have chosen Boston for this last class.
I know you're speaking from past experience, but again, it wasn't done that way for this past class.

That's how it was done for this past class. Yes, those are all A320 vacancies. Until the next system bid there won't be a ton of E190 hires because there weren't many vacancies after the last bid.
