I'm going to the WIA for Thursday and Friday. I'm hoping that if I get a fast pass chance to meet face to face with JB for 15 min of fame, informing them I am a Vet will hopefully carry the same weight as attending the Vets in Blue event. I wouldn't be able to stay over Saturday anyhow.

We shall see.

if its anything like the line last year, you wont have to wait too long for JB. To give you an idea, the line for UAL (the only major hiring at the time in early 2013) had lines set up out the door and some people waited 2 days to get face time, while the JB line was semi long on the first day and then went to zero, and you could just walk up to their booth whenever you wanted.

With all the majors hiring, I full expect youll get to talk to JB right way. Good luck, see you there.

So true. Some one actually posted pictures on the other site. It was hysterical. Jetblue leadership got wind of the pictures and tried to explain the empty lines in an email. One of the funniest I've read.

kind of like asking the not so popular chic to dance, no lines there....

At least we are dancing insteading of sitting on the sidelines trying to be too cool instead of waiting on the "perfect one".

Popularity comes and goes.
4 years ago that line would be long not not so much.
Time for blue to play the game.

I'm assuming new-hire base/airframe selection is based on age? For anyone that recently attended a new hire class... I'm curious what the typical new hire ages were. Thanks.

Many don't even have that. JB places no value on a 4 year degree.
