Are there requirements for a base to have actual lines as opposed to a 'Reserve only' base? Could they open FLL and make it known it is just going to be for reserve coverage and no pairings will be built to start/end there?

Yes they could do that. It might not be the worst thing if you live in base. Probably never get used.

Has anyone from the early September interviews heard anything at all whether it be TBNT or Welcome to the game? I have a buddy that was in Phase II and couldn't wait any longer so he is now in class at Atlas. Seems like the long process pushes people to move on if given the chance. I would think they would want to get you into the fold as quickly as possible to hopefully keep people from continuing their job search.
