or,

"Congratulations crew members, we operated a 100% schedule throughout the storm and only ran 14 hours behind... Shortly we will shut down the operation for 18 hours in order to let our planes "cool off" from running so hot during this hectic time. "
Thanks for all you do.

I'm currently
Just shy of 3k TT
1500 121
0 TPIC
B.S.
Vet
170/190 type
1.5 hrs from MCO and FLL
Clean record
Updating hours weekly

How am I looking and what can I do to get on board.

Thanks
Letters of recommendation. I'm convinced all the LOR's I had (from no one special just line pilots) played a big role in me getting hired. Considering my lack of volunteer work, job fairs, and application history. I know you have at least one (you're welcome).

Everyone places a huge emphasis on hours but I don't think that weighs as much here as other airlines. We had some low time guys in my class with no TPIC. Plus we're taking 'supermarket clerks and turning them into pilots'.

Keep updating your app and network. And if you're positive you want Jetblue to be your career airline maybe consider applying for an instructor position. I think it pays around 60K (don't quote me) and after two years you can transition to the line. Just a thought on another way 'in'.

Lol! I read a few of your posts and combined that with TarponSlayer. It just made sense.

Just be honest and put down EVERYTHING.
The really funny thing about my ticket was that I was driving from Detroit to Columbus to teach a CRM class for the Ohio State Police. I was a FlightSafety instructor at the time. Speed limit dropped in Findlay and I got popped. So I explain that I'm actually headed to teach a class for the police aviation department. Trooper thanks me for that then gives me the $200 citation.
Officers in my class knew the guy (I taught these pilots for three straight years) and called and squawked. Ticket stood.
