Right. I know that many of the regional captains that I fly with do not want to go to job fairs, and they also do not volunteer. Some do not have degrees. Perhaps those individuals are not receiving an interview invite for one or even several of those reasons.

I have some volunteering through our union here at republic (scheduling committee) and I have done some recruiting and interviews at headquarters. Other than that I'm just a run of the mill pilot. 4000 TT 2500 TSIC no TPIC. BS from Purdue in aviation. Your guess is as good as mine, I'm tickled at the opportunity though.

yea I'm sure the recruiting and interviewing helped, trying to volunteer with the union here but no luck.

I've been at JB for over five years. I didn't use any prep. All on my own, a risk I took. If u could afford it, why not do it. If can't, just make sure to go into that interview guns blazing, know as much as u can about the company and be yourself. Don't try to say something u think they want to hear. Be honest and demonstrate how bad u want it. Good luck,,,,hope u guys get it. We have our issues like any other place, but overall a good place to work and get to fly with some awesome folks....best of lucks

Borrow it. Emerald coast gives refund if you don't make it through phase 1. If you get the job you'll have money to pay it back

If you have nothing to hide in phase 2 you'll be fine

All the TMAAT questions are about turning a negative into a positive.

This filtering process allows the airline to screen pilots who they hope will react to real life situations in the same manner.

For instance, our health insurance sucks to which management hopes the response of the screened pilot ranks will be: "Well it sucks everywhere".

Hired!!!!

Experience? Meh! We can teach you the test.

Got the email today, on to Phase 2. What's the story on the Pilot Hiring Committee? Is that something people sometimes get caught up on?
