I recently went through the Flight Instructor interview process. You do the First Officer as well as Instructor interview in MCO. After your time as an Instructor, there is no more re-interview to fly the line. Be prepared for the FO interview as well as a short presentation and the new assessment test.

They are finally fixing that? Good to hear. Used to be guys had to reinterview. So they were good enough to teach JB guys how to fly JB airplanes but they still needed to reinterview to actually fly JB airplanes? It was a bad system that could create animosity between the two groups. We don't need that.

Filled out the app Thursday night, had the email for the phone interview Sunday night. Scheduled phone interview Monday AM. Could've had an August 23 interview but due to work schedule constraints, I have to schedule the in-person to either September or October. Luckily it's all electronic so you can pick and choose.
