I know a couple people who interviewed about 3 weeks ago who are hoping to get an early June class. If true, that would be awesome! Thought it was usually a 5 month timeframe from interview to class date.

Time from interview to class date varies quite a bit from my limited experience and from those that have gone before. It can be anywhere from 3-6+ months. As of right now there are still folks that have completed Phase 2 from the 01/12/16 Interview date waiting on class assignments. Some from that date were given 04/20 classes, so in there case it was just over 3mnths, whereas in the case of those now waiting for June and after classes it will be 5mnths. Hopefully those having interviewed recently will have a fairly short wait period.

Yep. Totally understand. Forewarned is forearmed. It's best to get all the information you can.

The unhappy new hires are mostly the ones that arrive uninformed. All I've noticed is that west coast commuters are miserable, JB is probably not the best choice for that. At the end of the day, If you can live near a base or a 1 JB leg commute away your Qol is excellent.

How about west coast commuters who are still only 1 leg away from base? (LAX-JFK) Not expecting it to be excellent until actually being based in LAX, just do-able.

Also, anyone have word on good crash pads near JFK? Preferably no hot beds and lots of JBU crew.

Ok so only June so far. A JB pilot told me July but wasn't 100% sure.

MCO - 18/24 months on the E190, 3 1/2 to 4 years on the BUS.

FLL - 12 to 18 months on the BUS. FLL is not a 190 base currently.
