How big did they say the class is going to be?

Are there just one a month so far or two a month?

Maybe not tomorrow but it does sound like they want to pick it up in the West. Mark Powers did elude to this last month as well.
Yeah but "laying plans to accelerate" does not mean next growth.
I still think FLL140 will come before any expansion to the West, as that plan it's already laid down, according to recent company emails.
We should reach FLL140 in 18-24 months.
It could become a junior base. May be E190?

I was told May 4 was a class of 9. Originally I heard that there was only 1 May class but was supposed to be later in the month. Makes me think there could be one later in May as well.

DAL already has 20 190s on the way. If they like them, then our 60 would be pretty attractive.

If they go with the C Series, I could see them trying to unload the 190s, in which case, coupled with relaxation of the LGB slot structure and a new customs facility could bode well for West Coast growth.

More so that the RJ mentality at a major needs to die and just call it what it is. A small narrow body. 100 seats or more is not an RJ.

Ah OK, I've gotcha now.

I would say you could lower that number even more. The DC-9-10s and BAC-111s were flown by mainline back in the day. Hopefully we're seeing a return to that.

Compared to what?? Airlines who don't fly it or own less than 20? It's a placeholder in most CBAs. Compare it to a small 737 rate or 717 rate or even dc9 rates and it's not as good as it seems.
