Have you guys noticed we got much fewer inquiries in here about the hiring window, compared to the last couple of years?
I wonder if that has something to do with the applicant being more informed, the application having less glitches than used to have or actually a general decline in interest for JetBlue after the new UAL pay rates and overhaul hiring from the Big 3.
I am curious to see the numbers after they close the window.

Another question, anyone noticed the RSV availability in Feb and Mar have much less FOs per day than used to be? Is this system wise?
What's going on?

Not sure. A lot of us have applied in several windows, so we kind of have the process down cold. Most of the information requested on the application my computer auto-fills from previous hiring cycles, which makes it pretty easy. I think there's still a high level of interest from potential applicants.

I agree. At least from the regional world, we are all trying to leave as quickly as possible for anywhere (for the most part).

I think many, like my self, have applied to many windows with no success. We have the process down. It is certainly discouraging seeing less qualified people than myself getting the interview. I'm not sure if I will continue to apply. At this point, I may hold out for one of the legacies. The longer it takes, the less likely I am willing to go for JB and the job would require a commute

At least the application has been updated and is a little more user friendly than in years past. It takes a little longer though.

So is someone I've been with for 4 years, living with me, sharing the bills, considered a domestic partner?

Touche! Well, she is my age... so do I need to get JB to consider her a domestic partner somehow?

Yes, you have to send a few shared bills/lease or mortgage etc., to get them listed as DP's. Almost all international carriers listed in the travel section on Hellojetblue give Zed fares to DP's.

You can list either a Spouse/DP or travel companion. I listed my (now ex) girlfriend as a travel companion to avoid all the paperwork and its great on B6 but most airlines do not honor them with Zed fares.

Also if you list them as just a travel companion, its a year lock in from the day of listing. You can take them off whenever but the slot will be idle until you hit the year date... so choose carefully.
