Which would give me an opportunity to upgrade to CA on it in another two years, have it go away, then bid back to Airbus FO locked in at 190 CA rates under our new CBA! Wait, was that a little optimistic?

I wasn't anti-ALPA. I was anti-merger with XJT. And apparently I wasn't in the minority given that they STILL aren't together years later.

We're on the same team now. I'll turn it down a notch.

I believe...(I've been wrong once)
The only thing that status quo applies to are things signed for in the PEA. Like, they can't just change the pay rates... but they can change the FSM all day because the PEA says Per the FSM. Not as it was, but as it is written... today via the email you just got.

Thanks. That was a hard time for everyone. I hope we never have to go through a merger here...
At any rate, we are on the same team now.
