We lost a good chunk (20ish?) of AA recalls over the summer before the equity payout deadline, we also are losing about 40 DL recalls over the next few months while they get assigned classes. I think there were 44 eligible recalls to DL, so only a few decided to stay. Some CAs are also getting hired off the street at places like UA or AA. I'd say we will lose 30+ CAs and a similar number of FOs for 2013.

Any idea what phone number or area code they call from to set up interviews?

If you see a 718 area code, answer the phone!

If your working and can't take the call will they leave a message, email or move on to the next applicant? I Would hate to miss the call, but I still have to make a living also.

Don't worry, if you miss the call they will leave you a message.

True Story -

When I got my call I was behind the wheel, just leaving the supermarket parking lot after taking my Mom shopping. I didn't recognize the number, so I played the voice mail back over the speaker phone.

I got the message saying it was jetBlue, and they were calling to see if I was still interested in employment. I threw the car in reverse, backing into a parking spot, and returned the call before I could undo my seat belt!!

My mom (being a mom, of course) reacted like "Don't act so crazy! What is going on?!?"

I love my mom to death, but it was literally a "SHUT UP MOM, I'M ON THE PHONE!!!" moment.

Taking your mom shopping? What a nice young man!

Great news, by the way!

If you are blessed to have your parents live for long enough, eventually this is what it will come too.

I don't mind at all, I am happy to have her around.

BTW. I am not exactly a spring chick.

Probably have a decent chunk of mid-low seniority FOs leaving for other places as well. I was shocked at what my seniority number was on this last System Bid. I moved up quite a bit.
