At Vets in Blue I think they said interviews Dec 11, up to 49 invites for that? More to follow after the new year. They also said each interview group will be a fairly even mix of mil/civ.

Has anyone been called yet that's applied in the latest window?

I may be wrong again but I thought on reserve you owed the company 18 days. Which in a 30 day month is 12 off. Not sure what happens in February though.

You are right, thanks for the correction. It depends on the length of the bid period. Un-ninjaed! So 12 days off in a 30day bid and 13 off for a 31day.

Days are shifted in a bid period to make them 30 day bid period. Jan 31st and Mar 1st get shifted to Feb so all three months are 30 days. In a 31 day period, you'll get 13 days off on reserve.

Edit: Damn. Ninjaed.

Is the Vets in Blue for only former military pilots, or is it also geared towards prior enlisted as far as hiring?

If you served in the military and want to be a jetBlue pilot, you are welcome. DD214 is all you need

I'm slightly confused, I thought you needed a special invite to the vets in blue? How would one get to the next vets in blue?

You can come to a Vets in Blue if you are a veteran. A veteran is a veteran. No special invite you just have to find out about it. We are interviewing on Dec 11th. Many Vets are interviewing on the 11th or in the future that were present at this past Vets in Blue! If you have a friend at Jetblue tell them to let you know when the info comes out next time. There is a special box to check for veterans in the application! Good Luck!
