jetBlue Hiring

I think people should absolutely show up to interview. JB pilots have a great reputation in the industry (regardless of what people may think of the actual company), and will likely look great on a resume to get picked up at a major.

It was not made up. The last PEA offer had two year agreement language in it. It was very vague, but essentially left the company an open door to sue you for training costs upon your leaving.
That contract language has been resended and we are awaiting what the 2014 pea will look like.

Or they might like it ( I know it's a slave ship) and stay.

If you work at Jetblue, that is a very hypocritical statement. Jetblue has always paid less than the legacy carriers. It has always paid more than the regionals. Why are you so upset? You took the job knowing what it was and what it wasn't.

Its simple. Industry standard pay and benefits. (See PVC emails)
Include these benefits, the FSM and the 5 docs into the PEA.
Provide industry standard language for a T/E and remove the holding company loophole.
For an airline that claims it wants to grow organically protecting the pilot group with merger language cost nothing. The fact they don't speaks volumes.
