Do you guys get a headset allowance, and what headset would you recommend? Haven't had to buy one in 10 years. The plane I was flying was installed with Bose. They're awesome, but they are a tad bit expensive right now

No allowance. Planes have Telex 750 for every seat in the cockpit, that are all you need in the airbus. Most go topless above 180.
Small minority have their own headset.

Nope. And I don't want to fly 4-5 legs days everyday neither. And I don't want to commute anymore. The lists goes on.
There must be a reason why people at Sun 'n' Fun were in line to talk to B6 first, and then to them.

Default Can scheduling change from LCR to SCR

Can sched change LCR to SCR without any notification? If assigned LCR when DRO comes out at noon day prior, how would one be notified they are converted to SCR?

The DRO is the controlling document, so if it at noon today it is posted and the DRO says you have LCR tmrw then the earliest they could convert you is 1400SCL for Monday the 28th. They usually convert LCR to SCL and put it on your schedule several hours before you start LCR, and you can either self notify or they will call you at 0001 when your LCR begins.

If you see SCR on your schedule for tomorrow then that means they didn't have enough staffing to give you LCR. Read FSM section D.6.

There is a difference between seeing SCR and SCL on your schedule. SCR is just a placeholder until the final assignment comes out. SCL is an actual Reserve Availability Period and should match what the DRO says.
