For the April 15 class the ten day break went with the Airbus JFK mostly and that went senior. Although there are a few days here and there, a lot of CBT study is assigned to those days. The local folks can drive home, the rest stay.

Lodge is great, food excellent. Wifi can get spotty in the rooms sometimes.

Wow, I actually had a reservation to attend but didn't because they said they were not going to be taking resume's so I figured "why bother". Obviously not a good call on my part.

I tell you what, once I told him that I printed off a copy of my profile from the application page on jetBlue's website and copies of a cover letter and resume, he was eager to take them. He wrote his name across the top of the resume with a couple notes like my currency issue which he said could be the only problem I might have "if I received a call" from recruitment.

He said, "involvement of an applicant in their community, in their current company ie; check airman etc. was huge to them.". That, "we know our applicants can fly & have the knowledge, we need to determine if they fit with jetBlue on a personal level."

Did anyone else starting class either 4/29 or 5/13 just get the new sterling request? Is this an error? Thought we were good to go beyond fingerprints?

I'm 4/29 and got one yesterday and my friend in 5/13 got one as well.

I've contacted sterling and waiting for reply but any insight? What a bear to re-do everything

I did. I spoke to JetBlue and Sterling and was told they were generated in error.

hey guys, i'm 4/29 class and received the request from sterling yesterday as well. The link in the email directed me to what looked like a completely new background check so I called them to inquire about it. The rep told me the they just need to run the criminal background check and all I needed to do was sign a consent form by selecting the last tab (to the right) of the application. I tried to select the last tab but the webpage would not allow me to select any tab higher than 4 or 5. The rep then told me that he could send me the consent form via email, this is where It became confusing. When I opened the email it had 5 pdf forms (basically the entire application). I called back sterling to inquire exactly which form needed to be filled out. He then told me that due to a computer glitch the information from my previous background check is not available and the entire background check application had to be filled out again manually, scanned and sent back. I just filled out the forms they requested.
