First year pay is what it is. If you get off reserve prior to your 1 year mark then you can deff make extra money.
Also have to figure that first year will include training - now at $2000 a month. So given 8 months on reserve and training with cost dollar averaging that's fairly low.

Trade with ya. By the way, I took home $2376 last month after taxes and that's on 7 year pay. And no, I'm not joking.

Six months ago we were probably not that far apart. As a 9K + pilot with a couple of types and turbine PIC, after passing phrase II, B6 required me to go to a regional for 200 hrs for more recency of experience. I was only doing 100 hrs a year contract and working at FlightSafety as an instructor. So I feel your pain. Since I made $387 a week as a first year FO at Envoy this is a raise. IMO it still does not justify a professional Airbus pilot netting less than 40K the first year however. I knew the salary - it's my choice. Should it be more ? (I.e. The recent new hire increase at AA)-Absolutely.

It's no more for people hired in 2015. Not the case for 2014 new hires

Money also come with a price...

Why do I say that? AA pilots compromised QOL for money.

I'm sure you aren't joking. Jetblue isn't a regional. Stop suggesting what we make is acceptable because of regional pay.

I didn't take it that way, more he was hoping and praying to escape the wonders of working for Brian Bedford's despair factory.

I'm sorry if I took it the wrong way. We all are excited to move onto Jetblue, and I don't want "it's better than a regional" to hurt our negotiations.
