Ops question - I've had trips that start at JFK and end in LGA with a "limo" on the end back to JFK. But if the trip starts and ends at LGA - instead of JFK- is that transportation my responsibility? In other words do I have to get to LGA at my own cost?

190 guy answering but I'm pretty sure 320 is JFK and LGA based; so the answer is yes because your pairing starts and ends in same airport. You pay the cab ride of $20 or $13 from JFK to LGA on the NY Airporter.

Also 190 guy but I find that hard to believe. We have a JFK base. Not a NYC base nor a LGA base. The company will provide you transportation.

Can anyone throw out a name(s) of who is on the PHC...? Matt Fortin I believe has gone on to work for Alaska Air, is Shirley still there? Trying to help out a friend.

If the trip both starts and ends in LGA then the pilot is on their own. Drivers have parking at the LGA short-stay hotel but coming from Kew or JFK is on you. Not sure if this applies to rsv as well.

Actually it is a NY base, not just JFK, they dispatch of out LGA for a pairing.

That's what I hear from the 320 drivers.

If your trip start and ends in LGA, transport to LGA is on you.

I have had a bunch of trips that started and ended in LGA. As mentioned earlier, there is an arrangement with the Holiday Inn at 37-10 114th St, where we use there parking and take the hotel van to the terminal.

Be warned, you better give yourself an additional 45 minutes or better, as the hotel van only makes two runs to the airport per hour (or maybe 3, but not enough), and if you miss it you're out of luck until the next run, and I know that it has come close to making me late a couple of times.

I have been told by several more senior JB pilots that when they drive to LGA, they simply park in the short or long term on the airport and submit the expense through Concur. I have not personally tried this as of yet.

I have also spoken to senior captains on reserve that have submitted their taxi to and from the crash pad to LGA, as they don't have vehicles in New York. Again, I have not done this personally.

There is parking available at the flushing holiday inn. LGA is a co- base. You will be asked to do trips out of both in either fleet type.
