Lets say I were to get JFK 320 out of training (seems to be the only 320 slots available). Eventually I want to get to FLL (hence hopefully the 320), but I know thats years away. I'll be commuting from DC, and it seems that BOS is the easier commute. How long would it take me to get out of JFK to BOS?

I would say JFK wouldn't be a bad commute at all. Likely, you would take the DCA-LGA shuttle and cab it over. Flights every hour and usually wide open.

To answer your question, it should be possible to hold Boston within a year. Also, there were a few people in my class who got awarded Boston bus in training.

With the growth in FLL it may come sooner than you think. It has gone fairly junior lately. Good Luck!

FLL is only months away,
at least it has been for the last year
Few guys gets it off the bat
Are you sure BOS is easier commute than JFK?

What exactly do they expect to see on the application where it allows you to upload documents for "explanations of any training failures"? Does anyone know anywhere one could go to see what format and exactly what JetBlue would expect to see on that?

Would that include a failure of an internal company PC or just pink slips?

Do all these documents need to be uploaded before the app window closes or can you upload after it closes.
I received an email thanking me for applying but I still need to ad supporting documentation.

Thanks in advance

Without a doubt I would say DC-BOS is easier. U.S. air has an hourly flight on a 320 and JB has I think 6-8 of our own. To go to LGA and over to JFK will be a hassle and get expensive.

Just my .2

I believe you can upload until it closes
But I am not 100% sure
Sorry

I have applied in this window and the section asks about "training failures" "checkride failures" only thing I screwed up was my private pilot checkride like 15 years ago, clean slate since... no 121 failures or training struggles. What documentation can I give for that? I have no idea what to provide for that...anybody know what i can do? thank you

I took a pic of my logbook using cam scanner with the unsat and then the re-training lesson and then the sat. Or I suppose you can make a copy of the pink-slip and attach that. Other than that not sure what you can do other than write out on a pdf what checkride, what went wrong, how you learned from it, and the end result.

Thank you.

This is my 3rd year applying. Hopefully will hear something this year. TT 4400, 3070 Jet Time, 1250 PIC (no turbine), 4 yr degree.

Why? Shoot for a legacy.
