Sorry for the confusion, but I think everyone should stay at Jetblue instead of jumping ship. I incorrectly assumed you were a JB newhire who didn't see any reason to stay here instead of going to DL.

We lost just under 100 pilots in 2014 and the majority went to AA/UA/DL. I definitely wouldn't say everyone is bailing.

I've been here since March of 2014. Never received the email but I did inquire with my base Chiefs and they confirmed that I was still receiving the bonus on my 13th month paycheck.

If they are still offering that bonus today is not something I'm aware of. But if anyone wants clarification just email your base chief, most will respond pretty quickly.

The pilot group never recieved anything saying they weren't giving the 1st year bonus so I would assume it's still going on.

I think with few solid adjustments in the CBA B6 can be the perfect place to be.

But we got to make sure we protect our niche which is the customer service. We can't let the culture diluted by inept gate agents or flaming inflights.
I understand those jobs are stressful and don't pay much, but they are the front line. We have too much at risk, and there is plenty nice people out there looking for minimum wages job. Personality in those position is everything for our stability. We are not a network carrier. Our customer chose to fly with us, don't have to.
Next time you see a customer mistreat, report it. Our job is at risk.
(That said, anyone senior to me should get another job, and anyone junior should stay

November 12 class. Was told that they can't offer us the personal agreement or a CBA in writing but at the present time they are standing by the previous agreement. That includes the bonus. We don't have anything in writing so all we have is their word.

This is good to hear. Disregard my previous incorrect post. Hopefully soon we will have better 1st year rates and this won't be an issue.
