Is age 44 and number 11 good enough to get the A320 out of FLL?

FLL hasn't been available to new hires in a while - years. I'm sure someone on property could tell you how long. I've got a buddy who is a July new hire and doesn't expect to hold FLL on this upcoming bid.

My buddy was hired into the airbus this year and got FLL, another transferred from JFK to FLL also there a year at the most. Might be a thing of the past by now but they got it in time I guess.

Thanks. I didn't know that. It's safe to say it's rare, though.

You won't get FLL Day 1 as a newhire, but as long as you get either BOS/JFK A320 then you should be able to transfer to FLL in about 6-8 months

Sadly, it's enough to require a winter jacket (albeit a nice leather one paid for by the company), a subway map, and an appreciation for dirty water hotdogs and thin crust pizza.

You think he'll see that jacket before the beginning of next summer!!

My order went in January, coat arrived in August.

When it finally came in I felt like sporting it on 90 degree days, just because.

There was one class in July that had a FLL and a LGB slot. It was whichever class was immediately after the June bid. It's possible that there are empt slots for the first class after the December bid closes.
