jetBlue Hiring
#1691
I think we will get the Gen2s if they prove themselves. JB has had enough headaches being the launch customer with the E190, and they want to make sure it runs as advertised before committing to any of the next gen ones.

If only that were true. JetBlue will buy Gen2's if the price is right. How many "well thought out" decisions has the airline made simply because of price. LIDO charts, maintenance tracking software, 320 aux fuel tanks, the E-190 are a few. Hopefully with the leadership change some thought will be used as these large scale decisions are made.

Three from the early am group on the 25th that I know of. Couple more from later slots. Others from Jan and the 25th (like me) that have unique "deferred" pending recency status. We could be slotted out of sequence in a late summer/fall class.

Nothing definitive. Perhaps just recent 121 time for guys out of the game a bit (i.e demonstrated ability to pass a 121 training program without glitches, etc.). My hope is the 25 hours of IOE at a regional!
Just found out that at least one of the Feb 25 phase II candidates received a TBNT letter yesterday. It came snail mail. Candidates have also completed interviews at the majors during this time; my expectation is they will leave phase II voluntarily to take other positions.
