I reckon jb isn't hiring anytime soon with the news that keeps happening? Would really like jb since they have a base where I live.

I would give it between a year to 2 years, if the legacies keep up with their hiring projections and our attrition picks back up. If it doesn't pick up significantly then probably 2+ years or more. If attrition picks up significantly, then we would be hiring mostly for attrition since we deferred 44 new 321neos to 2029. We'll still be taking A220s(total of 100 A220s. Most of them replacing 60 E190s, and the other 40 for some growth) and 4 321neos between now and then but we are already overstaffed.

So watch the space for legacy hiring numbers and current attrition here. Or try to get on with the legacies hiring spree if you can.

LAX - AA, DL(?), maybe more?

FLL/MIA - AA

MCO - UA

I think you have a legacy where you live. Unless I missed something. Happy hunting.

Call me pessimistic, but the growth you speak of will be in ASM while the first 60 220’s (140 seats) replace 100 seat 190’s. I think 220 #61 will start to shrink ASM as they will start replacing older CEO 320 (not yet announced). Jet Forward.

I tend to agree with you, and would not be surprised AT ALL. But until an announcement, it's considered growth as of today. JETshrink.

I don’t think we will retire/replace older CEOs anytime soon. They will refurbish them and keep them flying another 5 or so years. But….I do think another round of deferrals will come. My guess is we take the 28 or so remaining 220s scheduled for delivery this year and next year and push the rest out to 2030+ with the NEOs. At that point maybe start retiring CEOs again. That also gives more time to the acquiring company to decide what to do with the order book.

I heard the company wanted to defer some 220s, but there was language in the deal with Airbus that either prevented it or made it very expensive with penalties.
