I live 10 minutes from MCO, and yes looks like they are building some type of hotel looking facility right next to training center.

I missed that. Until I see it or some proof that tx talks about, I don't believe his comment. Bluepilots is a laughable source so let's hope that is not his "source". I am also not familiar with AAs training facility as far as housing. It may work out just fine if they do it right with a shuttle to entertainment/restaurants.

Good luck to all! The hotel you stay in should be the last of your worries if you are interviewing soon. Just be yourself. Hope to see everyone here that wants to be here!

If anyone wants to know if they can get credible info from tx, or aldonite, or the bluepilots.com keyboard commandos, reference their statements about the lodge costing $100 million, then listen to 2014 the state of the airline mins 36:00-38:00.

The CEO tells 15000 crew members, many of whom are shareholders, the lodge is $40 million.

I said the COO not the CEO; and yes, he indeed said $100 million on a pilot call last year, he also said we spend $1 mil each year on rooms for people in training. Even your tiny brain can do the math for the payback period (sorry for using MBA terms).

But thanks for the spin bluedriver. Loser.

Does he mention any specifics about why we're building it or if that will be the overnight hotel for layovers? Not that MCO is an awesome overnight but at least there are restaurants around our current hotel.

So on your word only, the coo said on a call, that you can't direct me to...

And that trumps the CEO on video, to all 15000 crew members, which is on hellojetblue right now, and I even told which minutes to listen to?

And you consider that spin? Holly **** you need help.

No, but in past emails from the company they did say it would also be for layover crews... I agree with you, I do NOT want to stay there at this point.

I don't care enough about your "opinion" to go looking for it. It's there go get it.

A hotel is being built. It will cost millions of dollars. Union or not we have no input on this decision. Save some of the arguing for decisions we can actually influence.
