Deleted. Put a little too much identifiable information in that post. My boss has been known to read the boards. Decided discretion is the better part of valor.

This damages meeting your talking about is not if they get what its how they are going to calculate how much each 3a er is getting based on 401k pto premium credit permonth etc etc. Also the New York penalties and interest. The raises have already been awarded. Its the implementation that will be worked on. Again why would the company voluntarily award another 300 millon to everyone else.
They are going to be paying back pay to all the 3aers this is true but there rumors of the A/B scale are just that. There will be a massive amount of back pay and benefits to be dished out as you stated in the neighborhood of 300 million. The damages meeting is June 25th your are correct but let's wait to see the results before we jump to speculation about pay scales.

Well the only way there will not be an A/B scale is if the company brings everyone else up to the 3a ers. And that is where the rumor is. Think about this, The transcripts are sealed so the judgement will be sealed and the 3A ers will not be allowed to even tell you what the award is. That's right you won't even know if there will be a B scale. So this "The company will make us whole" rumor is crazy

Any rumors as to how much they will need to increase staffing to comply with the new duty/rest?

How many airplanes on order for the next 5 years or so?

Think they'll grow the FLL domicile next year?

Any rumors of new domiciles or growth at Orlando or Long Beach?

Thanks

No hard numbers yet. There's a couple of committees working on it. Part of the problem, according to some of the guys I talked to during that Day In the Life thing back in February is that the FAA hasn't even decided how it's going to work yet. Basically, bid Jan 4th off 'cause it's going to be a nightmare.

Not certain, so I'll let someone else that knows answer that one.

Not until the runway construction is over. Once that's done, FLL will likely see an explosion of growth BOS style.

Nope, and as much as I'd love to see MCO grow, I'm not optimistic on it....

Not that crazy. When talking to one of the CPs in BOS about two months ago the number he tossed out for the pay review was 10-27% for the raises. I thought 27% was an odd number until I thought about the 3A suit. Then it made sense. Rumor? Yes. Crazy? Not so much.

No not crazy to get a raise but if they give you a raise they have to give the 3a ers the same raise. Which is on top of the lawsuit raise mandated by the arbitrators ruling last wed. They cant give non 3a ers a raise again without giving it to everyone. It would be another 3a violation.

Let me explain it differently.. If you get a 14% Raise everyone gets a 14% raise correct? So how can the company give you a 14% raise and not the 3a ers? Wouldnt that violate the PEA again? Wouldnt that be singling out the 3a ers for winning the law suit. Which is against the non-retaliatory agreement the company was forced to sign?

Now wouldnt it be easier to have the 3a ers sign a non disclosure agreement to what the damages were so that way everyone thinks they are on the same payscale but are not? How much would that save them? And what on earth would a cp know about what the company is going to actually do and what the damages were?

So no its not crazy that EVERYONE is going to get a raise its just that the 3a'erswill be on a different pay scale. That is unavoidable

Couldn't they put out the new PEA and say if you sign then this is your rate, don't sign you will get no change in pay. Then those that sign will agree to the wages and not be entitled to an even higher increase. If they don't sign then their pay is unchanged.

If thats not how it works then what is the wording in the PEA's that would prevent this

There is nothing in the current PEA that prevents this. (Hence the reason your hearing 320 raises and not 190 raises) But under the old pea pre-April 2007 The trigger of 3A was "Any" group getting a raise and not just new hires. Just happened to be the e190 new hires that received them. So since the 3A ers are still under that it would be triggered by any raise.
