It’s way easier than any regional. Most people who come here have plenty of time in a jet. The “oral” is incredibly simple, the maneuvers checkride is separate from the line oriented checkride, and there for it makes it easy to separate study topics. Not sure about other lcc, though I think spirit wanted you to have the flows memorized before you show up. It’s. It like that here. Really a breeze. The hardest part is training pay, but the lodge is nice and I like the food.

Straight forward training as has been said before. They give you everything you need to succeed. Study what is given, keep yourself organized, and try and have some fun. Plenty of new hires with a large variety of experience and background get through just fine.
JB uses AQP training. It is pretty much cooperate to graduate. If you are having issues with something, ask early for help and don't hide. They will go out of their way to help you succeed. TMK most that have failed out of JB have had poor attitudes or had other issues going on in the background.
Study with the group and put in the effort and you will pass.

I thought the food was decent. There was a variety of options 3 years ago. Not sure what it’s like now. It’s does get old after a few weeks though. The training here is about as laid back as 121 training can get. Instructors are great. Do some self study and chair fly your profiles/maneuvers. Pretty easy.

The food is good but after 2 months it does get old. They get creative reusing stuff from previous days… veggies will show up in the next day’s soup offering. Pulled pork and barbecue chicken will show up as a “create your own taco bowl”. You can always opt for the salad bar if you’re feeling a bit tired of the usual offerings. The soft serve machine is dangerous.
Training was by far the easiest program I’ve been through. Literally everything is given to you. I never studied in a group. Studied on occasion with my sim partner. Ask for help if you’re struggling with something and the instructors will bend over backwards to get you the help you need. The MV was a breeze… lining up on the runway, “ok, this will be a V1 cut. Take a second to mentally go over the procedure if you’d like and let me know when you’re ready” or “now we’re going to do a rejected takeoff.”

Personal opinion on the lodge.
The Rooms are clean and roomy
The showers are good
TV station selection is limited
Beds are comfortable
Nice Pool
Descent Gym
Free Bike rentals
Shuffle Board and Pools tables in the lobby. Don't know if they are back yet, they were removed for covid.
Mask policy will follow airport mandate as it is located on airport property
Wait for Laundry facilities. Not enough machines for the amount of rooms
No fridge allowed in room
Community Fridge in hall, must label and date everything
No Alcohol in your room or public fridges (hall patrols monitor this)
No one else allowed in your room. If you want to study or watch a game with someone go to a public space
Thermostats controlled by engineering, have to get them to unlock them if you want something cold
You are always on camera so don't be silly
No per diem during training just a lodge credit You get a daily credit that is use it or lose it each day.
If you have an early or late brief/debrief forget about food unless you are getting something out of the freezer/fridge in the pantry area
Bar, if open, has limited menu
Expect to hear constant calls to come join someone for bingo or other team building exercise (felt like college dorm to me)
The Chef there is nice and approachable. If there is something you really want ask and see what happens, sometimes you might get surprised. He genuinely cares about what he serves. He is talented but does get handcuffed by the budget he's given. They are good at stretching the food dollar and you will items re-used in different ways in the following days menus. You will get tired of lodge food after about 2 weeks. Try to get out of the place on a day off when you and get a change of scenery and food.

That is some great information, thank you for that!
I have a few other questions about being at the lodge:
Can we get Amazon(or other) shipments sent there?
I generally try to avoid tap water, especially at my current company overnights. Do they have decent water there or will I be stocking up on bottles?
Can we be put up in an outside hotel for a week if we want? (Only reason I ask this is because I think there is something about this in the CBA. Not 100% sure it applies to initial training)

The tap water to me tasted and smelled like chlorine so I chose bottled water.
I don’t believe so. I mean, you can book a hotel yourself but you’ll be paying for it and that won’t be fun on training pay.
