1. What are two specific things you know about jet blue and how do they impact your interest to work at jet blue?
2. Out of all of your roles, which one did you like the least? What did you not like about it?
3. If hired at jet blue, what would contribute to your continued interest to remain employed at jet blue?
and these
1- A resume walk through including why you left jobs etc (5mins to answer)
2- What do you like most about your current role and/or company? (3mins to answer)
3- How would your crew or co-workers describe you?
4- How much multi engine, fixed wing time do you have? Specify if it is piston, turbine etc. (1mins to answer)
5- How many hours have you flown in the last 12 months? (1mins to answer)
6- Any training or checkride failures? (10mins to answer)
7- Any accidents, incidents or violations (10 mins to answer)
8- What most appeals to you about a career at jetBlue? (3mins to answer)
You will get only 8 out of these questions. I thought about them. Wrote my answers down and practiced for a couple days before submitting. Good luck.

Any insight as to who they select for interviews? 8800TT, 2400 TPIC , former 135 CP and DO. Corporate safety officer, MBA , 5 types …. No 121 or military. No other red flags. No invites either. Thanks

When I applied years ago, I never had any LORs. They told me to bring them to the interview though. A buddy recently applied. No LORs. Got a video interview. So, I’m sure they will be looked at when they need to be…and it appears they don’t necessarily help to get an initial interview. But that’s just two anecdotal datapoints. I don’t really know. But to answer your question, I would guess if you add it after the fact, it’s still attached to you and your app in some way and can be seen when it needs to be.

He also said 3k was competitive mins. I know someone with 2200 and one with 2600 who had no LORs who are interviewing. There is a disconnect somewhere between what lum’s email said and what is actually happening.

There are always those that are exceptions to the rule. I always try to be over prepared rather than hope for the best. Especially now, since about 50% are being rejected after the face to face.

im really glad JetBlue is starting to look at/hire more people who suffer with Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) and wish you well for all that you have overcome. This is very progressive of the company and wish mire people like us knew about the disease.
TIA!
