9 started Wednesday. I think there are only about 100 left in the pool. 9 scheduled classes remaining this year. Gonna need to pump those class size numbers up to hit the vacancy numbers they are advertising. Good luck

What's been the latest info from the recent classes regards to bases and what folks have been getting? Does anyone think EWR would be junior? Has anyone seen much in the way of corporate folks coming over and or older guys? Thanks!

Many corporate guys there over the years. I'll be one of them. And several of my friends that are already there were corporate before going.

Will let others chime in on bases but seems BOS/JFK most common for new hires. I think it's too early to know about EWR and I'd guess most guys want to see how the trips are set up for that base before moving over. It would definitely cut my drive time in half but as an new guy I'd probably stay with JFK until moving up a little in seniority.

Lastly, from a commuter standpoint, how are things set up, contract wise, regarding commuter clauses etc? Thanks!

Fairly even mix of JFK/BOS 190 and recently some JFK 320. I expect that to continue. No idea about EWR…wild card. Lots of NJ/PA guys who I would expect to bid it. But we will see. I know they get plenty of older folks and Corp guys. Good luck.
